It took us 3 days to get mama’s trust and get her to the vet. After the whole family was checked and cleared they went into boarding. A few weeks later they all unfortunately caught the Parvo virus and they struggled in hospital for 8 long days but all survived. All the babies are quite high energy and love to play with each other non stop. They are shy for the first minute or two when they meet new people but quickly loosen up and come in for pets and rubs. Likes: having a 4-legged friend in the house is best. Having a buddy to show her the world isn’t so scary. Running, chasing balls, finding sticks. Has learned to love water play. Food! All food is very tempting, so an eye on counter-surfing. Has some food aggression, but with her background it’s expected. She seems better every day. Seems more content with a human in the room, so an at-home worker or family would be ideal. Loves a comfy floor bed. Dislikes: loud noises, new places, her crate, being alone or having a door shut on her. Not very barky, but definitely has a voice. Occasionally forgets to not pee inside, but we are working on it. Rather afraid of using leash on own. Prefers company of another dog for outside leash work. She is very, very sweet tempered and will be a wonderful dog considering her puppyhood.
