My name is Eris. If you stopped here, you must see I am pretty and interesting. So let me tell you about myself. I am 1 yrs old, spayed and weigh 46.2 pounds. I stand at 17 inches tall. I am house trained and will let you know by going to the door. I enjoy playing with other dogs, but will chase the neighbors cats out of my yard. Nobody knows what I would do If I caught up with one. I have not been exposed to live stock or to young children. I like to be inside and outside, so need a fenced in yard. I am shy when it comes to new people and new situations. I really need someone to work with me on my shyness. Oh, I forgot to say I do okay on the leash. So I am hopeful that you will have the patience and the time to work with me on that besides me being shy. I do love my person though and like being with them.
Things I like: I like to play with squeaky toys and balls I also likes ropes.
Things I do not like: I do not like toe nails clipped and dont care for baths but Im okay about it.
An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has Adoption Pending beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions dont always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet youd like to apply for.
Thanks for thinking adoption and Good Luck!
