Brinnie is our lucky girl! She ended up at a shelter heavily pregnant. Once pulled a back hip/leg injury was noticed. Some jerk SHOT her. With being shot the better said she was in no shape to give birth and had to have a c-section right then and there. The surgery went well and Brinnie healed quickly. Unfortunately, 7 of her 8 puppies passed on a few weeks later due to parvovirus. Momma Brinnie and her remaining pup Minnie are now ready for adoption. Brinnie is a young adult female estimated to be around 2yrs or so. She’s a smaller type of shepherd mix (guess) at only 39lbs. Her foxy appearance is just adorable. Brinnie LOVES other dogs and would really thrive in a home with another confident dog there to show her the ropes. Momma Brinnie was quite shy and nervous once saved. She quickly learned to trust and love her foster, she is still shy/scared in new situations, new loud sounds, and will need lots of time, patience, and love while she adjusts to her forever home. She is doing quite well and will settle in just fine to a new home who is willing to give her the time. This girl would do best is a home without children under the age of 14-16yrs. She is also not a good candidate for kitties, so no kitties in her home. Brinnie m will need a solid 6’ fence+ and/or to always be on leash and supervised as she just wants to visit her doggie pals next door. She would do best in a suburban or open land type home (can not go to the city/apartments/town/row type homes where there are too many people/noises). With everything she has gone through there hasn’t been a mean bone in her body. She will make someone very happy as a loving loyal girl. She just needs the chance to open up! Brinnie is a very sweet lovable girl who gives kisses and welcomes you home with a wiggly wagging butt/tail once she knows you’re her person.
