Kuana is a sweet and shy girl! Kuana loves her humans, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes. Kuana is even tested good with cats. She has been through a rough start in life and can be shy with new people at first. Kuana has a good temperament and has lots of love to give! Kuana is doing very well in her foster home and ready for a forever home. Kuana started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining. Kuana rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands. Kuana and her sister, Kuan, are a bonded pair. They play, sleep, and eat together. We are looking for a loving home to adopt both of them.

KUAN & KUANA’S RESCUE STORY:

Poor Kuana and her sister, Kuan, were abandoned in a park. There are hardly any food and shelter. They were at first rescued by a TNR group. TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs. TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals. Poor Kuana & Kuan were again back to the streets. A kind man was in the park walking with his Shiba Inu. They went up to him and begged for food as they were starving. The kind man gave them food and posted their story on Facebook. Unfortunately, no one had called for them. He then reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them. The founder’s home has over 180 dogs waiting for homes. However, she could not bear to see them starved and died in the park all alone. The founder agreed to take them in and give them a chance in life.

Kuana and Kuan had a thorough medical checkup. They have been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on their blood tests. Please give Kuana & Kuan a forever home together!
