Meredith goes by Padme and is a 3 year old Australian Shepard Mix that weighs about 40lbs. She is kid and dog friendly. She loves to play and snuggle. Walks great on a leash (She is use to a thin/short 3 prong pinch collar), walks great with others dogs near as well. Avid squirrel chaser. She has been around cat periodically but her foster would not recommend a home with small animals like cats. She will chase if they run. She is crate trained and is OK to be in her crate when her humans are not home. At night she has slept in her humans bed. She has energy to burn and can get hyper but is not destructive. Shes a curious girl who loved to explore and has gotten herself into a pickle exploring, resulting in a slice out of her tongue. Shes not a velcro dog but definitely wants to keep her humans happy. This girl would most likely love a home with older kids and NO other fur siblings and someone that is highly active. She absolutely can keep up on long hikes or any other activities the family participants in.
