Description:
JANET: Shepherd-type mix, adult spayed female, very sweet personality, shy at first and needs time to get to know you, very affectionate with people she knows, loves to be petted and get belly rubs, medium energy level, seems to like most other dogs, approved for very gentle and respectful children age 12 and up.

Im an extremely sweet girl whose past life was pretty rough. I am quite shy with new people and need time to understand that youre my friend. Once Im comfortable with you, I will adore you and give you the sweetest hugs and kisses! I love to be petted and get belly rubs, and am just a doll with people I trust. I have a medium energy level and nice leash manners, and I enjoy playing with stuffed animals. I seem to like most other dogs and am approved for very gentle and respectful children age 12 and up. Im looking for a kind and patient adopter who understands that Ill need some time to feel safe and comfortable in my new home. Once I settle in and realize that youre my forever family, I will devote my life to giving you every bit of my love and loyalty!

The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dogs individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
