Foster insights/story :

Lira originally came from a shelter outside Kyiv that was on the occupied territory for 5 weeks and the workers were trapped without food and water with 3300 animals. They boiled acorns and walked to a lake to get water to keep as many animals alive as possible. Lira was running loose with a chain attached to her neck, running scared by the explosions when she was rescued.
She was referenced as being one of the most adoptable dogs at the shelter and loves to play with dogs and people. She is now here in Canada and loving every minute of it! Lira is a very affectionate girl who loves to snuggle, play and go for walks. She will be the perfect addition to any home.
