Moma might be one of the sweetest dogs weve had in the shelter in months. We know shes listed as a Cane Corso-German Shepherd, and looks like an Anatolian Shepherd mix (check that nub tail, though!), but she has the demeanor of a Golden Retriever or Labrador. Moma likes anyone who gives her attention and talks to her in baby voice. The moment she hears baby voice, her little nub tail starts wiggling so fast youd think its going to fly off her body. Like all dogs in a shelter setting, shes slightly nervous and focused on her environment. But that doesnt stop her from coming up to you and leaning in for pets. We get the feeling that once shes in a home, shell be snuggle city. Moma appears to be housetrained and previously lived with other dogs.

She does get overexcited when she sees another dog running, so we dont suggest taking her to the dog park or off-leash dog areas, or letting her run off-leash with dogs she doesnt already know. With calm introductions she should be able to make doggie friends.
