Olympia, WA, 98501
Pet name:

Poppy- 9m 47# Shep/Husky Mix- good with dogs, cats,
Foster Notes: We’ve had Poppy since last Sunday, so just over a week now. She is super sweet and very playful and energetic. She loves the other dogs and wants to play with them all the time. She is also good with out cats, she is curious but has zero aggression towards them. She seems to be well potty trained, although she did have a couple pee accidents in our house the first couple of days. Might bave been stress / transition related though. She hasn’t had any accidents since, and she never had any while in her crate. We do crate her while we cannot watch her as well as for meal times and ar night. She does sometimes whine for a little bit when first put in, because she wants to be with her humans and other dogs, but she does settle down after a little while and is ok in the crate. She did just have her spay surgery on 8/17, but it seems to be healing well and she is not picking at the site.

**This dog is currently at the rescue in TX however you can secure this pup for yourself with a pre-adoption which means getting your app in, approved and then paying the adoption fee. The adoption fee is $525 which covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees. All our dogs come with a 30 day, money back, trial period to make sure they are the right fit in your environment but if it doesn’t work you will have to foster until the dog gets rehomed. Tall Tails Rescue has a commitment to these dogs for their lifetime and we hope you do too! If you are interested in pre-adoption you can click the link here or copy/paste and fill out the app to get started:

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
