Due to her size older kids would be best Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Unknown Energy Level: Medium. She likes to play with other dogs, and gets the zoomies for short periods of time, then comes in and lays down. House-Trained: Yes, when taken out on a regular basis. Crate-Trained: Yes, we use the command - Kennel UP. We use treats when she is hesitant about going in. She may whine for a bit, then quiets down. Rides well in a car: Yes Good with Young Children: Unknown, but she does have a good temperament. Good with Strangers: Yes, but she shy at first Shy or Confident: Angelina loves attention, though she is somewhat shy and nervous in new situations or meeting new people. Barks: She has barked at people walking in front of our house, but doesnt bark a lot. Apartment Qualified: She may bark at people coming & going in the hallways. She cannot be left outside without a secure fence. I was told she did climb the fence at her previous location, to get to where her person was, she did not try to run off at that time. Angelina is a love bug, who craves attention. She does get excited and jumps up on people, which I have been working with her on. When she comes to me, she either has to sit or stand calmly, I then reward her with lots of praise. I have been working on manners, and this training will have to be continued in her forever home. She truly wants to please you, and is treat motivated. If you are interested, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hours drive of St. Louis, MO. Angelinas adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
