Charlotte

Charlotte is a 6/7 month old Shepherd mix who was surrendered along with her 5 other siblings to a high-kill shelter in Texas. Charlotte and her litter were set to be euthanized (due to lack of space) the day that our rescue stepped in. We are so happy to be giving them a second chance!

Charlotte is currently fostered in Forked River, NJ, but can be transported to her forever home!

Charlotte is currently fostered with her brother and enjoys taking long walks and trips to the pool and beach with him. Charlotte is very laid back and has a low to medium energy level, whereas, her brother is much higher energy (he can drive her a little crazy, sometimes!). She would do well as an only dog or with a dog who respects her boundaries and has the same energy level as she!

Charlotte is great in the car and enjoys going for car rides with her foster mom! She is also potty trained and crate trained.

Charlotte would do best in a home without small children. She can be nervous in a new situation and takes time and patience to warm-up. She would do fine in an apartment setting, although, we would love for her to have some space to play and stretch her long legs.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
