Name: Petroschka Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd Mix
Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of 9/17/22
SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 26.2lbs as of 9/17/22 - and she likely still has some growing to do!

Gets Along With: Other dogs! We havent seen her with cats, but she can be tested!

Currently Living at: DC area foster home!

Check out this video of Petroschka:

Special adoption considerations: Because Petroschka is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog. Due to her shy personality, we do not recommend her for a home with children under the age of 12, to ensure that she is comfortable.

Petroschka is Looking For: her very own human (and new doggie best friend) to snuggle! Petroschka may have a bit of a beefy look about her, but she is a lover, not a fighter! Are you willing to coax this sweetheart out of her shell and into your lap? Do you have a dog in your home already who could help her learn what being a beloved family pet is all about? If so, Petroschka is waiting to show you how grateful she is with a lifetime of kisses! She cant wait to go on walks and spend time at the dog park, and show you how smart she can be with some training classes!
What My Foster Says About Me: Update coming soon, as Petroschka and her foster get to spend more time together!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
