Description:
Dewy was in the shelter on the euthanasia list but is now in foster with Beauties! She originally passed evals to transfer to the humane society but she has a large patch of missing hair on her back and was therefore euth listed. According to their notes, she was starting to stress out and her behavior became inconsistent. The shelter can be a scary place.

Her foster says that Dewy leash walks well accept for some pulling. She is people friendly, but not so much with dogs yet. She had a formal introduction with one of the foster dogs outside of kennel and did well. She has had some lip curling and intense stares from her kennel at each of the current dogs in the home. This is already starting to improve with time. She is great in the kennel with no accidents or whining, but is fearful. The vet says she has a bacterial infection on her back, possibly chronic so she is on meds for that. Dewy gives kisses.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
