Lousia is a sweet girl who would love a lap of her very own to snuggle on. She is the best tiny cuddle bug and a quiet girl. She is about 1 year old and about 8lbs. Her scruffy look is the cutest "rough around the edges" style of the terrier and sweet disposition and face of a Shih tzu.

All pets in Little Lotus Rescue are considered NOT potty trained and NOT hypoallergenic. The best way to think about adopting a new friend is to imagine bringing home an 8 week old puppy-so potty training, manners, walking etc. are what to anticipate post adoption. Your expectations of a new family member likely dont match that of the previous owners or even the fosters because we all live with pets a little differently.

Please begin by filling out an application. Not all applicants are the best fit for every pet. Status updates can be seen through petstablished and emails, please check your spam folder.

Animals can be adopted out of state. Potential adopters must do meet & greets in person. Animals must be driven home by the adopter or flown in cabin with the adopter. No other pet transportation is permitted.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
