Echo Husky Female 6 year(s) old 45 lbs. Bi-Eyed Gray-White fur coat Possibly good with dogs and cats Not good with kids Normal energy level Meet Echo, also known as Bella! This bi-eyed beauty is a stunner for sure! Echo was adopted out to a home, but was returned when the adopter called stating issues. Sadly, this was hardly a home environment for Echo..... She had a 10x10 spot in the foyer, and was kenneled most of the day, if they adopters husband or other animals were home and in the house. Echo also had her own small section of the yard. This, paired with Echo not being worked with sent her back to square one, after so many volunteers worked to get her to where she was. Echo has possession issues, mainly her crate and her toys. She will growl and bark at volunteers when they attempt to enter her run, but after they are in with her all she wants is a walk and to give a kiss. Echo is a great dog, however she does have a bite history. There have been no bites recorded with any of the current volunteers who work with her. Echo also has food possession, and this is a quirk that is most likely going to need to be respected, and likely unbreakable. Echo also may have minor neck sensitivities when first meeting new people, however once she warms up to you and gains a mutual trust, that issue seems to go away. Echo needs to go into a home that will be willing to work with her, and train her to be the best that she can be. Echo hasnt been around small children, so it is likely best that she do not go to a home with small children. This dog requires an adopter to come out to the rescue three times in order to build up trust and form a bond with this dog before going home. Please talk to your adoption coordinator regarding the behaviors we have been working with this particular dog and the training techniques we have seen improvement with. We will also need the name and number of the trainer you plan on using before they will go home. If interested in this adorable canine please begin the adoption process by filling out an adoption application.
