Nova is a young husky who is so sweet and affectionate. She loves everyone and gets along great with the other dogs here. She was transferred to us from another shelter where she had been pretty sick. As we nursed her back to health, we realized she was having a problem absorbing the nutrients from her food. This was causing her to be skinny, always hungry with loose stool. We currently have her on a prescription diet (which we would be glad to provide her new home with the remainder of the bag) but she seems to do well on any high fiber food or with a fiber supplement and probiotics added. This is a pretty common ailment in dogs which most owners dont ever get diagnosed or recognize. She is doing great and would love to be your new family memberAdoption includes: Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, De-worming, Microchip and small bag of Food
