Breed: Silver marten Size: About 4-5 lbs Approximate DOB: born around beginning of 2019 Reason in Rescue: Sweet Tilly was part of a group of auction buns we rescued. It was a not good situation for any of the buns involved and we were more than likely saving their lives. She was adopted out and bonded to another bunny and then they were returned to us after two years. Personality: Tillys prior life before us was very sad. She was run through a livestock auction as a male and than gave birth to a litter of babies after arriving at our rescue. She then was adopted for two years and then returned through no fault of her own. She was very timid prior to being adopted but she has chilled out a lot. She’s very sweet and laid back and likes being petted. She does not like being picked up so is best petted on the floor. She is litter box trained as well. Her and Peter would be good for any time of family, but preferably one on the calmer/quieter side. Friends: Tilly must be adopted out with her bonded mate Peter. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4 x 4 for a pair). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html ), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption (but can be waived if the adopter can send pictures and/or video of where the bunny would be living). Suggested adoption donation is $100 for a pair.
