Allentown, PA, 18106
Pet name:
Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Coat length:
Twilight is a beautiful Staffordshire Bull terrier that is about 9 years old. K9Kare received a phone call from a vet tech asking if we could take this beautiful girl. The owners had taken her to the vets office to have her euthanized because they no longer wanted her. They were shocked when the veterinarian refused to euthanize a perfectly healthy dog.

That is when we stepped in to help Twilight. She was with the dog trainer for about a month. The trainer had lots of great things to say about her and the progress that she had made. We were delighted when Twilight found a home in the PNW.

Fast forward about 2 years. We got a phone call from a shelter in Washington. They said Twilight had been in their shelter for TWO months and was at risk for euthanasia. We worked with the shelter and were able to bring Twilight back to Texas. She is currently staying with the dog trainer until her new home is found. This time we hope it will be her FUREVER home. This sweet girl deserves that!

The ideal home for Twilight is a home without cats. She loves all people, but because of her high energy she might not be a good fit for a home with small children as she might knock them down. The trainer says Twilight would be great with another high energy dog to play with. She is smart and eager to please.

Twilight is a sweet and cuddly girl. She cant wait to meet her new family.

AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
