LUFFY is one half of the sibling group you see in one of the photos here. She is the brown tabby. LUFFY arrived at the shelter in early July with her brother, LUSH, and their mama cat. Their mama was not well-socialized and went off through HART, a local cat rescue group, to live in a barn. Her two kittens are slowly gaining social skills now that mama has moved on. LUFFY and her brother were estimated at 8-10 weeks of age when they arrived. She has not yet been spayed. That must be done before she can go home with you. Think carefully about that - as she will need to be confined in one room for a time so that you can "finish" showing her the love of a human for a cat and make her want to crawl into your lap and onto your shoulder! For some people, that is a dream come true. For those of you who want a cat that is already wanting to kiss your face, talk with the shelter staff to find a more suitable choice. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
