GIGI was a former homeless mommycat valiantly protecting her kittens in Harlems Marcus Garvey Park. Now that she and her family have been rescued, shes ready to be a wonderful friend and pet.

Gigis a snuggler! Smart and curious, this is a bright, interested-and-interesting kitty. Probably best as a solo, our friendly girl has some fun quirks--shes crazy for straws and seems to want to understand the power of the TV remote! GIGI is now spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for both Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia. She is litterbox reliable and loving towards people. 

We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full.
