Meet Athena. This adorable girl is most definitely not the goddess of war as her namesake might suggest. Shes a modest girl that you may never know is intently watching you unless you knew she was there. While very observant, shes the quiet and unassuming sort (although she has a meow that makes her sound grumpy) that is content observing her surroundings but just as happy should you come to offer her love and affection. Shes not a needy kitty, so its rare you will find her pawing at you for attention or rubbing up against your leg. Shes far too refined to be begging any humans for attention; she knows her worth and has no time for those who cant appreciate her for who she is. However, shell be tickled pink should you offer her your lap where she can perch and be brushed and adored and a true goddess should be. Athena seems to like everyone unless they show her that there is a reason not to. Shes a great cat who weve never heard hiss and when another kitty hisses at her she seems shocked that they would do such a silly thing to such a sweet girl.

It is believed that Athena would prefer a calmer, slower paced home. Rambunctious spontaneity isnt this girls style.

Completion of an Adoption Application via our website (www.RescueCrew.org) is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in the adoption process.

All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.

For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well.
