AMOUR WOULD LOVE TO BE IN A FOSTER HOME WHILE SHE IS WAITING TO BE ADOPTED. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FOSTERING AMOUR, PLEASE GO TO MAKEADIFFERENCERESCUE.COM TO DOWNLOAD AND SUBMIT AN APPLICATION.

Meet beautiful Amour. She is a 7 year old Terrier mix. Amour was forced to be on the streets, no home or shelter exposed to the frigid temperatures. This little girl was on her way to being a statistic, frost bite setting in on her toes and open wounds that were swollen on her rear leg. We are thankful for the good Samaritan who took Amour in and called us. She immediately had surgery to remove two sores and was spayed.

Amour developed kidney failure 1 year ago. Her recent lab work shows her kidney function has improved and is stable. She is on special food for her kidney failure. She needs to have a quiet home without other dogs and children. Amour is very good on a leash when going for walks. Her forever home is required to have a fenced yard where she can safely explore and play. Amour is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, on monthly heartworm preventative as well as house and crate trained. As her name implies, she is full of love and she cannot wait to share her love with her forever family.

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters.Amours adoption fee is $300.
