Meet our Zoe who is a resident of Louisiana. This beautiful full-grown 15 lb girl and her three puppies were rescued from a Parish that provides no test or vetting to any of the dogs that they take in. We fell in love with her spirit. When she arrived at the vet she was given a full workup and tested HW positive :( At Paws From Afar we never leave our dogs behind and Zoe is now receiving treatment and should be ready for her furever home in the next 5 weeks (9/19). 

Zoe came to us very shy but is coming out of her shell and is beginning to trust humans. She is a good snuggler, loves to spend time with her doggy buddies and will be an excellent explorer.

We believe strongly in crate training your new arrival and keep the crate up so your pupper has their safe place, of course, their safe place should be full of dog beds, pillows and blankies.

Pet insurance is required prior to pick up, please make sure you calculate this into your monthly expenses we recommend Trupanion Why Trupanion? 1) Coverage for all new injuries and illnesses 2) They pay directly to the hospital or facility 3) Unlimited payout for the lifetime of your pet. Paws From Afar believes that all dogs should have adventures as often as possible, they need a change of scenery, smellery, new paths to explore or oceans to swim in. 

Zoe is up-to-date on all vaccines and her adoption fee is $500. If the pup is still listed, then they are still available. Keep in mind that we bring our dog up from the south and if you require a meet and greet, we are not the right rescue for you, we are happy to put you in touch with the pups fosters prior to adoption.
