Meet Isla June (Isla)! She is 5 years old and weighs about 58 pounds. She is a beautiful pitbull/pointer mix with all white body and brown spots on her face/ears. Her situation is unique in that she was rescued from Codys Friends back in 2018 where she was found in a neglectful situation, extremely skinny, tied to a tree, and having just had her puppies taken away from her. Since being rescued, she has been a part of a loving family located just outside of Dallas, but due to a new baby in the family, she needs to be in a different home. She is very fearful of young children, often feeling intimidated by them. 

She is extremely smart, very snuggly, gentle with those she trusts, loyal and gets night time zoomies. She is house-trained, crate trained, not destructive, has many tricks to show you, loves to play with any toy, and enjoys a good doggy brain activity. She also loves walks and does well on the leash with minimal pulling- a pronged collar is recommended and what she is used to. She has a huge personality and very expressive!
