Meet Amaryllis!

Hi! Im Amaryllis! Do you have lots of love and squeaky toys? Im looking for a forever family that is loving, patient, has lots of toys, and a tree I can climb. Yes, I climb the tree in my foster parents backyard. I think the squirrels are really surprised when they see me coming up the tree towards them. Haha!

I have a lot of love but I also have a lot of fears. I was part of the Azle hoarding group and Ive already come so far. Im about two years old. I live with two fur foster brothers and I enjoy being with other dogs.

Things I love:
I love all kinds of toys but sometimes other things look like they should be toys and I make a mistake.
I love to wake up my family in bed each morning but I try to wait until the alarm goes off.
I love to be with my foster mom and would like a forever mom who is at home a lot.

Things I fear:
I am fearful of men. I sometimes still bark when I see my foster dad. He loves on me and gives me treats but I am still fearful. Really, Im basically fearful of all new people. So please give me time to get to know you! I dont like to be confined in a kennel or small room, but I do fine left out.

Things I have overcome:
I have overcome my fear of my harness and leash. I love my walks and foster mom says Im doing great but sometimes it takes me a second to realize Im not afraid of the harness anymore. Im working on my house training but still have some accidents. The more you take me on walks and let me play outside the better I do at house training. But the heat limits my outside time these days.
I have very wiry hair and dont shed. So I need a little help looking my best with some brushing and grooming.

I cant wait to meet my furever home.
