Description:
Sansa is a lovely 6-year old female Tuxedo kitty who arrived at the HSOV on March 24, 2022 after she was picked up in the Vincent Ohio area along with several other cats who had shared her home.

Sansa has a black-and-white short smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern, white socks on her paws, a long tail, and a beautiful symmetrically-marked face with green/gold eyes, a pink nose, a tiny black goatee, and long white eyebrows/whiskers. Sansa has a rather short muzzle and a deceptive grumpy expression on her beautiful face but that is her natural look.

Sansa was given wormer on March 27, 2022 and flea treatment on April 4, 2022.

Sansa was combo tested on April 1, 2022 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm. She weighed 7 lbs that day. Vaccinations were withheld since (sigh) Sansa was pregnant.

Sansa gave birth to three brown tabby/white kittens on April 14, 2022, and she raised three happy, healthy babies under less-than-ideal conditions in a small shelter cage.

Sansa was given vaccinations on April 24, 2022 and was also given booster vaccines on May 19, 2022.

Since her kittens were fully weaned, Sansa was spayed on May 24, 2022 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 7.14 lbs that day.

Sansa and her kittens were separated a few days after she was spayed and, though Sansa missed her babies terribly for several days, she is now ready to find a home of her very own either through adoption or rescue.

Her kittens (Alexander, Edith, and Gabriel) will be spayed/neutered in the near future and will also be looking for loving homes.

These updated photos of Sansa were taken on June 15, 2022 after shed had an opportunity to settle into her new life without her babies. Sansas affectionate outgoing personality has emerged, and she was eager for attention.

Sansa is currently enjoying being one of the most recent residents in our HSOV Free Roaming Room. She is ready to go home with her new family and enjoy out-of-cage freedom with them.

Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
