Description:
Laynie is an 8 yr old, 55 lb., sweet and shy pure Weinaraner girl. She was adopted at the age of 1 1/2 yrs to an older person who is now having to move to an assisted living facility. Living with young children and cats is a questionable situation because of her quiet home life. Laynie has had trepidation issues with men but with love and patience she will surely warm up to them. She has been boarded on some occasions at a kennel and gets along fine with other dogs and follows her bonded brother Blue around playing ball. She rides ok in a car, would like to go on walks,
She is house and crate trained. A 5 ft. fence and someone who stays home most of the day is the best situation for Laynie.
The ideal situation is for her and Blue to get adopted together since she feels unsure with life without Blue. If Laynie and Blue are adopted together their combined adoption fee would be $250.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
