Hi I’m Finley. I’m a 8 year old full Labrador retriever with a long heritage. I was in training to be a service dog at two months old and remained in service until I was 3 years old. My best friend passed away from his condition. I was never the same after he died and became very depressed and struggled. I’m now eight years old and retired from any kind of service life but I still want to go on adventures and have fun. My ideal home would be with a pre-teen or teenager. I love to play hide and seek or fetch with them! I have retained a lot of my early training and am a good girl! I can be dog selective and prefer only one or two other companions. I also don’t like to share treats on the ground or food bowls. I just need some private time to snack and eat. Mostly I just want to have fun with a kid! I am my happiest when this is my life.

I also LOVE water and think swimming in Colorado is super fun. I love hiking. I love anything outdoors. I just love lots of things, especially when I have a human to bond to.
