Monas owner surrendered her because she did not have the time to spend with her to work on her training. Mona lived as an outdoor dog before she came to us. Mona is a Labrador Retriever who is loving being inside with her foster parents. She is a girl who wants nothing more than to make you happy. Mona has typical Lab energy so she needs a family that can help her expend energy with play time, walks, and water play. Mona loves playing fetch, cuddling, belly scratches, giving kisses, wearing bandanas, car rides, and wrestling with the big dogs in the home. Her favorite snacks are greenie sticks, greek yogurt, peanut butter, soup bones, and anything you can put in a KONG. Mona knows basic commands and is crate trained and house trained. We are working on not pulling when leash walking. Because of her jumping when she gets excited, she would do best in a home with older kids. Mona is so ready to make a family with kids and another dog very happy! Mona will come to her adopter spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and up date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Adoption requirements: A secure, visible fence. In order for your application to be approved you must pass a home check and a vet check which includes having at least a two year vet history. Adopters can be located in Missouri and surrounding states: Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana. Being fostered in Yorkville, IL
