Jessie is an adorable little yorkie girl who loves other dogs, cats, people.  She is a little sweetheart!  (Est DOB 2016)

In her previous life she was used for breeding for the first 4 years of her life and then placed in a home where she was severely neglected for two years.  

Jessie loves other dogs to play with, walk with and to just chill around the house.  She is very quiet but will startle easily with loud noises.  She is still getting used to living life as a happy little dog away from her days of a breeder and kept as a prisoner in a home.

She is very loving and enjoys cuddle time.  She was starved for attention and really enjoys people time where she gets to be the centre of attention!

Because of her background, Jessie was not trained.  Her foster family have been working with her to ensure she gets her time outside often so she knows she can do her business outside, not inside.  She uses pee pads on occasion, her foster family leave one out for her if she needs to use.  She will need someone who is patient and not bothered by having a pee pad out for Jessie.   While she is doing great with training, we want her adopter to be flexible with this as she did not have a great beginning to her life.

Jessie has met children and does great with them as long as they have been trained to respect a dogs space and understand being gentle.  She has lived with adults only and preference is an adult only home.  

This happy little girl also enjoys squeaky toys on occasion, toys are still new to her so she may learn to love toys over time.  She sleeps in bed with her foster family and their dogs, she loves it.  She is a calm little girl who loves to lay on a lap as well.

When walking Jessie she has learned quickly to walk well on a leash without pulling. And she enjoys taking a car ride from time to time too!

Ideal family for Jessie is a young retiree  or someone who works from home who has another friendly little dog who loves dogs.
