Pickles was surprisingly found stray, such a beautiful, kind boy to be lost in the streets of LA. He is magnificent, photos do not to him justice. Fortunately a wonderful rescuer got him to safety and we are now looking for the best fit home for him.  He is a calm, cool, collected 6 year old fellow, and at 65 lbs, he can do very well on leash with an experienced large dog walker.  He is extremely food motivated which is great for additional training. He appears to be house trained based on his clean kennel habits (never an accident). Pickles’ best fit home will be one where he has a safely fenced, private outdoor area, with an active family for walks, hikes, adventures.  An apartment or condo is not out of the question if the people are ready to take him out for regular walks, which he thoroughly enjoys.   He would be a great dog for a one on one relationship with a person, and equally good in a home with another dog who has good social skills.  He is very curious about all dogs, and exhibits friendliness to all.  Children over 12 would be fine, only because of his size and strength.  Pickles is a great super sweet boy and is ready for his perfect forever home.  Please note that we are currently set up to adopt within the Los Angeles county area.
