Hello friends! My name is BuBu and I am a 41-year old Red Lored Amazon. I have lived a long, full life, but still have many years left in me. I have been with my foster family for several months but I can not wait to find my forever home. 

The first thing you must know about me is that I do NOT like men and must be adopted into a home with only women, or where a woman will be my primary caretaker. Please also know that I tend to bond with only one person, so I am not what they call a "family bird". 

I enjoy being out of my cage and getting lots of attention from my special person. I am on a diet of mostly pellets. I do not really care for chop but I like apples as a yummy treat. 

My foster family lets me have a lot of freedom when theyre home - I like to have my cage open so I can come in and out as I please.

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
