Description:
Docket was a stray found on a construction site. Hes a muscular boy (like the guys who brought him to the shelter:)

Docket is friendly and enjoys rubbing against you and being petted. Check out his videos to see how he adores getting his head rubbed! He blisses out! :) Docket will follow you around and loves attention. Hell show you hes happy to see you by rolling over!

When Docket first came to us, he got overstimulated very easily and would react by swiping at you. Hes gotten much, much better, but is still a work in progress. Hed be best with a patient adult rather than a young child. He gets along with his roomies, but hed be just fine as an only cat as he does get jealous.

Hes handsome (adorable actually, but hes a stud so he prefers we say handsome) with his natural bobbed tail.

He loves to play and his favorite toys are a plastic egg and his catnip cigar. He holds them in his paws after he chases them.

A RappCats adoption is quick and easy.

We charge a standard adoption fee of $150

to offset the costs of medical services and supplies so our cats are healthy and ready for adoption.

We can usually complete an adoption within two business days after we conduct an interview. If two cats are adopted, the adoption fee for the second can be lowered or waived. RappCats is a non-profit organization that helps stray, abused, abandoned and unowned cats in Rappahannock County. We are strictly no-kill. If they are old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered. We are also in constant need of foster homes to care for cats awaiting adoption. For more information or to adopt, contact us at 540.987.6050 or email us at rappcats@rappcats.org.
