When they say love has no limits, well this certainly is the case with this strapping fellow, Helix....108 pounds of pure adoration with room to grow, fur sure?

Though this handsome guy had not been shown love nor compassion and was abandoned in a high kill shelter in Florida with a horrific leg injury, this did not deter him. 
His situation was ominous however, Helixs loving personality and determination to overcome a bleak ever after made for a promising outcome. 
Sufferin, not only in physical pain but languishing alone and bewildered, Helix gave kisses and welcomed hugs by all that met him. Large dogs coupled with injuries have little to no chance of survival down South however he was afforded the chance for a new life with the opportunity to know love and yes, romp and play as all doggies should. 

He was the perfect, respectful and affectionate patient in both vet hospitals and was said to be a lover by everyone who made his acquaintance. Helix is still a young guy, approximately 2-4 years young and quite the social/polite gentleman.
After three Orthopedic consultations, Helix has been scheduled to have surgery Tuesday and after some rest/relaxation/rehabilitation, he will be runnin and frolicking in no time.  

In the interim, he will need a quiet, comfy, caring place to rest his body and let his leg heal. 
We are asking for someone to open their heart and home so Helix can heal and go on to find his furever home/person/family to love. Perhaps you too will fall under his spell and want to make him your canine companion.?
