Mickey Mantle is an adorable American Bulldog!  He has a beautiful coat and sparkly eyes.  Mickey is 3 years old and weighs 62 lbs.  Hes very sweet natured and friendly.  Mickey gets along well with other dogs and hes good with cats.

Sadly, Mickey tested positive for heartworms. But please don’t let this scare you away!  We just need to get him into a home during his treatment.  The cost for the heartworm treatment is completely covered. We can provide you with more info about his heartworm treatment if you are interested in adopting or fostering him (we’d love to find him a foster home!).  Once his treatment plan is completed, Mickey will be able to live a normal healthy life with no restrictions!

ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Please visit our PETFINDER HOME PAGE at  https://kckac.petfinder.com for upcoming weekend hours at our shelter and for satellite adoption events.

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
