[A106519, homeless since 9/07/21]. This is Prince - a 2 year old American Stafforshire mix who was found as a stray and nevere reclaimed by his owner. Heres the truth - no one wants him. A black and white bully breed mix is completely overlooked by all. He has not had a family in more than 6 months. Living in a concrete run at our shelter for the entire time. No family has even ever tried to take him home. In fact, no one even asks about him. If you came to meet him, you would see he is a friendly and outgoing boy. He does have energy and would love a yard to run around, but otherwise, he wont ask for much. He doesnt need a perfect parent - just someone to love. Prince would do best in a home without other animals. We think he could be housebroken, but it can be hard to tell in a shelter environment. He is neutered/up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Princes adoption fee has been WAIVED ($0) to a loving home. We have a sleepover program which allows you to take a dog home on a trial run before comitting to adopting. We will give you all the supplies - you give the love. We are a high intake animal control facility located at 31078 Highway 36 in Lacombe, LA. Every day we are fighting a space/capacity crisis - if you are thinking about adopting, please come as soon as you can. If you are interested in one of our adoptable pets, please give our shelter a call at 985-809-0183 to ask more questions or stop by during our open days between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm. If you have a dog, please bring them to the meet and greet so we can make sure both dogs get along.
