Description:
Meet Leo, our ridiculously handsome boy! Leo is a happy, happy, happy pup when he is around people that he knows and trusts. He is a definite favorite among his caretakers at the shelter. He absolutely loves squeaky toys and is rarely not seen with one of his “babies” in his mouth. That is, until he decides it’s time to take the stuffing out. Leo is housebroken and is extremely gentle for his large size.
Leo is described to be protective in the home with people that are unknown to him. This sensitive guy will require his potential adopters to come to the shelter multiple times to meet him before taking him home. If you are willing to put in the work, Leo will pay you back with years of love and companionship. We are looking to place Leo as an only dog in a quieter home with adults. If you would like to take the first steps in meeting Leo, call the shelter to set up an appointment. Our shelter does not have a dedicated office staff to respond to emails. For the quickest response, call us at 906-632-2519.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
