Description:
Meet Earnest, affectionately called Old Man, or OM.

We took in Earnest after an acquaintances family was leaving NY and said they were going to leave their pet of 16 years at the ACC! Knowing a grumpy old man was likely to not fare well over there, we took him in instantly.

Earnest has learned to trust his foster humans and enjoys being petted and being in the same room as his foster dad.. He appreciates quiet time but will come seek you out when hes ready to hang. Nothing gets him going quite like his favorite Temptations Treats.

For an old man he is rather athletic! Not only does he easily hop from floor to chair to desk to catch the sun from the window, but he located a hidey house carelessly left atop the crated bed area we provided and climbs up and down with ease multiple times a day.

Earnest is currently living with a senior female cat that is known to hate all other cats and hasnt shown interest in any of the other fosters that come his way. The perfect home for Earnest will be with a person who will enjoy having an independent yet oddball older cat looking to live out his time in a safe and loving environment.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
