Osiris was surrendered to the NYCACC (The New York Animal Care Centers in July along with his brother Aries. The reason why was because they fought.  So instead of neutering them, he dumps them at the shelter.

We were able to save Osiris when he was listed for euthanasia.

Osiris is a very gentle, senstive boy. Loves to be loved and petted. Loves to play with stuffies and chews on bones like nobodys business. Walks on a leash incredibly. No pulling or issues. Listens to you fairly well. May chew on things when left unattended(ie: like wires, pens, tissues, pretty much whatever he can grab.) He will go in crate after treats. Can cry for a decent amount of time, but he settles in after a while. Hasnt done this for a while with a us, but who knows in a new environment. He has issues with marking his territory. He will go outside, on a leash and do his business, but then 20 minutes later he may mark inside. Usually you can tell by him sniffing around for a while. We have had him around other dogs. He can get along with them, but he is an alpha. So I would say either a home with no dogs or another dog that is submissive. Im not an expert, but thats my thought on the situation. He may get agitated when someone comes to your house, but with a little attention, he becomes his old, sweet self. I believe he will lose this habit over time. I cant express enough how he is so loving, sweet and docile.
