Charley, 3 years old, neutered male, Staffordshire Terrier mix, 50 lbs. He is in Houston, TX and can transport to an approved adopter.

This handsome, active guy was saved from euthanasia at an overcrowded shelter in Texas. He is very dog friendly with a lot of energy. He does tend to be "in your face" when playing with other dogs, so consistent support teaching him some manners would be helpful.

We have no history with cats or kids. We recommend a home with kids 12 years and older due to his energetic personality.

Charley could use some additional leash work. He sometimes thinks it is a game and will play tug of war with the leash. He would be best walked in a harness or something other than a collar as he tends to pull.

He is house broken. He will go in a crate.

He is a very happy dog who really seeks attention and love. He is very good natured and goofy. He an be clumsy at times when he moves. He is super food motivated which helps with any training.

Charley is looking for an active home who is willing to work with him on some basic manners and obedience. He would love to join you on adventures- running, walking, hiking, car rides- he is ready!
