Hi!!   I’m AJ…  a 3 year old, 50 pound American Staffie / American Bulldog mix.   I landed at the shelter after having lived in a home w/ 6 other dogs.  There was horrible fighting and, sadly, one of us was hurt so badly he had to be put to sleep.  

Being at the shelter has been an adjustment but I do feel safe and loved.  I can be playful and silly.  I will lean into you and give you wet kisses.  Once I know you I will crawl into your lap for love.  My tails is still tucked sometimes but these days it wags more and more.  

I’m looking for a kind and patient adopter who will love me and provide guidance as I continue to gain confidence, learn, and blossom.  

Best in a home without small children given history of traumatic past.
