Hi, I’m Redford. Obviously, I have rugged good looks, but more than that, I’m a surprisingly awesome cuddle buddy! The volunteers tell me I’m their favorite so I give them lots of hugs. I love all the people I meet, but I have been called a “ladies man”.

I only want human company, not other animals. I am good on leash, but I do need to keep working with my foster mom to learn to ignore other dogs on walks. I have very good manners, and am completely house trained. I will need to find a family who will continue my positive reinforcement training. Luckily, I’m very food motivated, so my training will be fun!

Besides walks, playing with my toys, and snuggling in bed, I really love car rides. I would be a great road trip buddy! If you’re looking for a big lovable dog to share your life with, FILL OUT THE APPLICATION AT hsnb.org/adoptions so you can meet me: Not to brag, but I will be an amazing best friend!

______________
Rocket Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer nonprofit group dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned animals from euthanasia in overcrowded Bay Area shelters. We literally give them a second chance at life. And everybody deserves a second chance.

Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! Adopters must complete an agreement (http://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/) and a personal interview prior to adopting a Rocket Dog. There is a non-refundable adoption fee ($325 for adult dogs, $400 for puppies) which helps us defer the cost of spay/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
