Description:
Hi, my name is Dayton! I am approximately 9 months old and weigh 35 pounds. My vet thinks I am a small American Staffordshire terrier mix. My foster mom says that I am a goofball with a big personality. I didn’t have the greatest start in life. I was found in an abandoned house with my two siblings who, unfortunately, didn’t make it. I came into the rescue with a severe case of mange, but I’m all better now and living life to the fullest!

I am neutered, microchipped, and current on my vaccines. I am also kennel trained and house trained. I love treats and am very food motivated AND my foster mom says I am well mannered when it comes to food.

Although the vet says I’m about 9 months old, my foster mom says I act much younger. I have 3 foster dog siblings and get along great with them. I absolutely love to play, but can get a little rough sometimes. It’s all puppy type stuff and they are much bigger than me so I have to keep up. My foster siblings are pretty patient with me and are teaching me how to be a good dog. I’d love to have a doggy brother or sister to share my life with.

Also, I have some foster kitty siblings and boy do I love them! They don’t seem to care for my playful antics, so my foster parents think it would be better for me to be in a home with no kitty siblings.

I absolutely love people and love going everywhere with them! My foster mom says that I have a big, outgoing personality that is full of goofiness. I always have the hiccups and my snaggle tooth sometimes get stuck on things. My legs tend to go in 4 different directions, but I don’t let that slow me down at all! Since I am a little clumsy, my foster mom thinks a home without small children would be better.
