Description:
Hi, my name is Scooby! I am approximately 1 1/2 years old and weigh 52 pounds. My people think I may be an American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador mix. I was found during some really hot weather at an apartment complex. The staff took me in and put me in their dog park overnight. Unfortunately they couldnt find anyone to help me so they were going to put me back on the street in the\xa0morning. My foster mom is a resident at the complex and just couldnt let that happen so she took me in. Thank goodness! It was sweltering outside. You guessed it, no microchip and no ID tags. My previous owners were very irresponsible.

I am good with other dogs both large and small. My foster brothers Finn (toy Aussie - 13 lbs) and Kuma (Shiba Inu - 22 lbs) are teaching me how good it is to be a dog. They are much smaller than me but I love playing with them anyways; especially Finn. I know their size though and realize I cant play like I would with a larger dog so I show them my belly a lot. I also have 3 kitty foster\xa0sisters! They arent my biggest fan but I love them anyway. I just let them be and play with my foster brothers instead. I absolutely love men; especially my foster dad! Hes my favorite to play and snuggle with but I get along with everyone I meet. I am a sweet boy with a lot of energy. I love\xa0kids but would probably be best in a home with kids 8 and older since I get pretty excited to see everyone. I love to go to go on walks and have big adventures. I am not totally sure about toys yet but my foster brothers are teaching me how fun they can be. So far my favorite thing to play with is ropes!

I absolutely love belly rubs and affection from my people. I am both crate trained and house trained and walk well on a leash.

I have had some formal training and know how to sit, stay, come and down. I also love to do barn hunts.

I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.
