Paco, 9 years young, neutered male, Staffordshire mix, 45 lbs. He is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport to an approved adopter.
We are hoping this super sweet pup is not overlooked due to his age! He is a spunky guy who still has a lot of life to life!
He shares a home with several other dogs, various sizes and both genders. He gets along great with the other dogs and tends to co-exist vs engaging in play. He really loves lounging in his kennel and watching the activity in the house.
Paco has spurts of energy, but we would classify him as a lower energy guy. As you may be aware, it is extremely hot in Texas right now, so has limited time outside due to the heat.
He has met kids aged 11 years and older. He has done great with them. Since we have not seen him around smaller kids, we recommend a home with kids 10 years and older.
Paco is house broken and as stated above loves his crate. He has shown some resource guarding of food around the other dogs, so he is fed in his crate. He has shown no issues regarding food and his foster mom. She can take food or his bowl away without issue. He takes treats very gently.
Paco is just a sweet old man that needs a family or a single person to love him and spoil him while he lives out the rest of his days. Weve had no health issues with him and have had a senior blood panel done just to be sure.
We think he would suitable for apartment living or a house with a fenced yard. He is a fairly low maintenance guy!
*Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dogs exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. ***
