Vivid is a smart, and loyal 8-year old, 40 lb cattle dog. He has put his past life of abuse behind him and is learning to trust the world. He didnt get out much before so things are all new to him and he needs some time to observe before he feels brave. But with support, hes come so far and loves his fosters and loves their adventures together. Kids seem novel to him and make him uncomfortable. He has a dog friend thats smaller than him, but bigger dogs can make him nervous. He lives with a cat that he likes to pal around with and shadow. Hes great in the car. Vivid will do well in a home that can keep his body, and his mind, busy with training, time outdoors, and enrichment activities.. Previous cattle dog, or other high-drive breed, experienced homes are preferred for Vivid. Vivid reports: Kids: No, thanks. They make him nervous Cats: Has lived with a dog savvy cat Dogs: Prefers dogs smaller than him Chickens or Livestock: Unknown Crate: Sleeps in overnight Vehicle: Great! Just lays in the back Activity level: Mellow Likes: Snuggles, walks, car rides Dislikes: New situations, swimming Bite History: None Vivid is neutered, microchipped and has received age-appropriate core vaccines.
