On August 6, a mother dog named BELLA gave birth to seven puppies at the shelter. Six of them are now available for adoption while the runt has to put on more weight before being made available. The boy pictured here is ARTIE. Mama is listed as an Australian cattle dog mix. Therefore, all of the puppies are listed as the same mix. The puppies are ARTIE, ALFIE, ACE, BECCA, BLAIR and AERO. They are due for their second set of puppy vaccines and staff will administer those to them. None of the puppies has been spayed or neutered yet and that will be scheduled at the time of each one’s adoption. They cannot go home with you as your own until that is done. To meet the one who catches your eye, CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
