In shelter Dog

Albany, NY, 12208
Pet name:
Australian Shepherd
Brown / Chocolate
Meet Scotty!

This sweet young boy was in a rural shelter with no outreach to rescue or an adoptive home. We brought him into our adoption program, and we know we can find him a forever home!

Scotty appears to be nearing a year old and is around 50 pounds. Hes highly outgoing, great with people and dogs, and does well on a leash. He would be an excellent companion for being outdoors and active!

His breed mix is a sheer educated guess based on features. He could also have some husky, border collie, shepherd, etc.

Scotty isnt currently in a foster home, so we dont know about house training with him.

Below is a video of Scotty and another girl, Juniper.

Scottys adoption fee is $500 which includes his neuter, current vaccinations (rabies, bordatella, 2 parvo/distemper boosters), negative fecal, negative heartworm test, health certificate, registered microchip, and transport costs.

He is available through Paw Pals of Hale Center, a partner rescue of Project Freedom Ride. He is currently with our rescue in Hale Center, TX. He would be transported on one of the PFR transports to either Meridian ID, SLC, UT, Seattle, WA, Mt Vernon, WA, Kennewick, WA, Portland, OR, Buffalo/Syracuse/Newburgh/Castleton on Hudson, NY, Chester, PA, Springfield, IL, Lansing MI, Cleveland, OH, Springfield/Richmond, VA, Halethorpe, MD, or Bedminster, NJ. For more information on how a Direct Adoption with Project Freedom Ride works or to meet this guy via video call, email
