Meet the beautiful 3 year old, 54 pound Brownie. Brownie has had a stroke of bad luck through no fault of his own. He was brought to the shelter by a person who was a family member of the owner on 09/17. They said they were moving and Brownie was not going with them. They refused to give any information and would not provide their ID before they dropped his leash and left. They did say he was afraid of some men. Brownie is a sweet but confused and scared boy right now. He will sit and stay and lay down when asked and takes treats gently. His coat is very soft and silky. Brownie does not deserve this and he hopes to find a new home very soon. Sadly since the people who dropped him off would not leave any information he had to sit for a 7 day stray hold. He is current on vaccines, neutered and micro-chipped. He tested negative for heart worms. Brownie is waiting to meet you in run 59 and his ID# is 639590 Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we dont know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
