Sylas is a playful puppy that likes to get into puppy mischief. He gets along fine with the other household dogs. He has not been kid or cat tested, but we think he would be fine with older children. He can be skittish, so a good escape-proof yard would be perfect for him. He is very fearful and can take a bit to warm up to his surroundings. It should be understood that he may not be the cuddly sit-in-your-lap dog right from the beginning and some acclimation time should be expected. Let him come to you! He is not crate trained and does not like to be crated.

He was born around July 2021 and currently weighs around 13 pounds. Were not sure about his breed, we were told he was a Chihuahua mix, and thats possible, but we also think that he looks an awful lot like a Basenji.

He is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, on preventative, microchipped, and neutered. Sylas is located in St. Louis and his adoption fee is $300.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
